PCSO LOTTO FRANCHISE REQUIREMENTS – Here are the qualifications and the additional requirements in franchising a Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lotto outlet.
Are you interested to apply for a franchise to operate a lotto outlet under the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office? More popularly called PCSO, the lotto-operating body has set eligibility and documentary requirements for franchising applications.
The lotto franchising is open for individual applications as well as applications by partnerships and corporations. Once you have passed the screening process, it is important to submit the additional requirements set by the lotto-operating body which you can check below.
Screening and Submission of Additional Requirements
For individual applications, the applicant must be a Filipino citizen who is at least 18 years old. Here are the requirements that must be submitted to the lotto-operating body:
- any two (2) valid identification cards with at least one (1) Government issued ID
- Tax Identification Number (TIN)
- two (2) latest 2×2 ID picture of applicant
- NBI Clearance
- Barangay Certification showing that the applicant resides in the proposed site if the proposed site is a residential building and owned by the applicant or his / her immediate family
- Business permit issued by the city or provincial government if the proposed site is a commercial and owned by applicant or his / her immediate family
- duly-notarized Letter of Agreement between the owner of the establishment and applicant showing that the proposed site will be leased to the applicant for the lotto outlet if the proposed site is a leased property
For partnership applications to qualify, the partners must be Filipino citizens and the Partnership Applicant must be duly registered and existing under Philippine Laws. Here are the PCSO lotto franchise requirements for the screening:
- Bio-data of its Board of Directors and Officers, or Partners
- Secretary’s Certificate authorizing the applicant to represent the Corporation / Partnership
- NBI Clearance of its Board of Directors and Officers, or Partners
- Two (2) latest 2×2 ID pictures of the authorized representative
- Latest Audited Financial Statement
- Proof of Identification (two (2) valid IDs) of its Board of Directors and Officers, or Partners
- Income Tax Return (ITR) for the immediate preceding year
- Certified True Copy of SEC Registration, Articles of Incorporation (for corporation applicant), Articles of Partnership (for partnership applicant), By-Laws, and latest General Information Sheet (GIS)
- Barangay Certification showing that the applicant resides in the proposed site if the proposed site is a residential building and owned by the applicant or his / her immediate family
- Business permit issued by the city or provincial government if the proposed site is a commercial and owned by applicant or his / her immediate family
- Company TIN
- duly-notarized Letter of Agreement between the owner of the establishment and applicant showing that the proposed site will be leased to the applicant for the lotto outlet if the proposed site is a leased property
For corporate applications, the corporation must be fully owned and controlled by Filipinos and the Corporate Officers must all be Filipinos. The Corporation Applicant must also be duly registered and existing under Philippine laws and must submit the following documents:
- Bio-data of its Board of Directors and Officers, or Partners
- NBI Clearance of its Board of Directors and Officers, or Partners
- Secretary’s Certificate authorizing the applicant to represent the Corporation / Partnership
- Proof of Identification (two (2) valid IDs) of its Board of Directors and Officers, or Partners
- Income Tax Return (ITR) for the immediate preceding year
- Two (2) latest 2×2 ID pictures of the authorized representative
- Latest Audited Financial Statement
- Company TIN
- Certified True Copy of SEC Registration, Articles of Incorporation (for corporation applicant), Articles of Partnership (for partnership applicant), By-Laws, and latest General Information Sheet (GIS)
- Barangay Certification showing that the applicant resides in the proposed site if the proposed site is a residential building and owned by the applicant or his / her immediate family
- duly-notarized Letter of Agreement between the owner of the establishment and applicant showing that the proposed site will be leased to the applicant for the lotto outlet if the proposed site is a leased property
- Business permit issued by the city or provincial government if the proposed site is a commercial and owned by applicant or his / her immediate family
The aforementioned requirements must be submitted within five (5) days to the National Capital Region (NCR) department or a branch office nearest to the proposed area for lotto outlet.
After submitting the initial requirements, you will have to submit photos of the interior and exterior of the constructed lotto outlet which must show compliance to the PCSO requirements for lotto outlet franchise with regards to the interior and exterior of the booth.
