List of Pag-IBIG HELPs Requirements for Application
PAG-IBIG FUND HELPs REQUIREMENTS – If you are an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) member of the Fund, here are the documents required in applying for the Pag-IBIG Fund Health and Education Loan programs.
Most of the locally-employed individuals in the Philippines are members of the Pag-IBIG Fund. The membership to the state entity is mandated in government offices as well as most private companies. Meanwhile, there are also individuals who made a voluntary membership to the state entity. Among them are overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
Many OFWs are in the pursuit of regularly posting the Pag-IBIG monthly contribution to keep their accounts updated. It is no secret to the public that a membership to the state entity is an excellent preparation for the future and the unexpected circumstances.
The Pag-IBIG Fund offers Multi-Purpose, Housing, and Calamity loan offers. Through the years, it keeps on growing its services and it has new loan offers. Aside from the Pag-IBIG Housing Loan under the 4PH Program, the Fund also has the Pag-IBIG Health and Education Loan programs or the Pag-IBIG HELPs.
The Pag-IBIG HELPs is open not only for the locally-employed and self-employed members of the state entity but as well as the overseas Filipino workers who are members of the Fund. Before checking on the Pag-IBIG Fund HELPs requirements, it is best to check first the qualifications which are as follows:
- an active Pag-IBIG member with at least one (1) monthly contribution posted within the last six (6) months
- with at least 24 monthly membership savings under the Pag-IBIG Regular Savings
- avail the loan from Pag-IBIG HELPs partner schools and/or hospitals
According to Pag-IBIG Fund, in the case of member-borrowers who have existing Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan, House Loan, and/or Calamity Loan, they may still avail the Pag-IBIG HELPs provided that the existing loan account(s) must not be in default.
The Pag-IBIG Fund HELPs requirements includes specific documents that must be submitted to the state entity. In the case of the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), here are the documents required by the state entity for application:
- duly-accomplished Pag-IBIG HELPs Application Form
- billing assessment from the HELPs partner school or hospital
- one (1) valid ID
- Philippine Identification (PhilID) Card
- Passportincluding those issued by foreign governments
- Driver’s License
- Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
- Police Clearance
- Postal ID
- Voter’s ID
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) ID
- Barangay Certificationor Barangay IDs or similar documents bearing picture of the Member
- Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) e-Card
- Social Security System (SSS) Card
- Senior Citizen Card
- Overseas Workers Welfare Administration(OWWA) ID
- Overseas Filipino WorkerID
- Seaman’s Book or Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB)
- Alien Certification of Registration/Immigrant Certificate of Registration
- Government Office and GOCC ID, e.g. AFP ID, Pag-IBIG Fund Loyalty Card
- ID issued by the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA)
- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Certification
- Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID
- Company ID issued by Private Entities or Institutions Registered with or supervised or regulated either by the BSP, SEC or IC
- PhilHealth Health Insurance Card ng Bayan
The Pag-IBIG Fund requires a proof of income as part of the Pag-IBIG Fund HELPs requirements for application. Here are the documents that OFW members must submit as well:
- Employment Contract:
- Employment Contract between employee and employer; or
- POEA Standard Contract
- Notarized Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
- CEC written on the Employer/Company’s official letterhead; or
- CEC signed by employer (for household staff and similarly situated employees) supported by a photocopy of the employer’s ID or passport
