The UnionBank Personal Cash Loan offer is open for both salaried and non-salaried individuals. This is where the difference on the requirements for application sets in. For employed individuals, here are the documents that you must prepare and submit to the bank:
- one (1) valid government-issued ID with photo and signature
- proof of income (any of the following):
- latest complete 1 month pay slip issued within the last 2 months
- Certificate of Employment with Salary issued within the last 2 months
- latest ITR with BIR stamp
If you have yet to get a Tax Payer’s Identification Number or TIN, you may process it at the nearest office of the Bureau of Internal Revenue or BIR in your area. Make sure to bring the TIN number requirements set by the tax-collecting office for the issuance of the TIN.
There is a different set of UnionBank Personal Cash Loan requirements for self-employed individuals who want to apply for the offer. Here are the documents required by the bank:
- one (1) valid government-issued ID with photo and signature
- proof of income:
- latest income tax return of your business (Form 1701) – all pages
- latest Audited Financial Statements of the business with independent auditor’s report and balance sheets and tax receipt with bank stamp – all pages
The loan offer is also open for foreign nationals. Here are the documentary requirements set by the bank for foreign nationals who wish to apply for the loan offer:
- valid passport or ACR
- any of the following proofs of local residency:
- Immigrant Certificate of Residency (ICR)
- ACR I-Card with Visa status “Permanent”, otherwise, should be valid for more than 1 year
- Special Resident Investors (SRIV)
- Visa and Work Permit/Alien Employment Permit (AEP) with validity of more than 1 year
- Special Resident Retirement Visa (SRRV)
For foreign nationals who are working in one of the Top 200 companies, you may also submit an employment contract or a letter from the company HR printed on company letterhead as the proof of local residency in applying for the UnionBank loan.
