BPI Personal Loan
The Bank of the Philippine Islands has set varying requirements among the employed and self-employed individuals as well as allottees. Here is a guide on the documents required by the bank for the loan application:
Employed
- duly-accomplished BPI Personal Loan Application Form
- valid ID issued by the Philippine government (with photo and signature)
- latest three (3) months payslips or latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Form 2316
Allottee
- Proof of remittance or latest bank statement where remittance is credited
- Latest and unexpired POEA validated information sheet or latest Employment Contract or consularized COE (If remitter is permanent resident in the country)
Self-Employed
- duly-accomplished BPI Personal Loan Application Form
- valid ID issued by the Philippine government (with photo and signature)
- 3 years of Audited Financial Statements (AFS) or latest ITR
- Business Registration Certificate issued by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) or the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC)
BDO Personal Loan
The Personal Loan offer of the BDO Unibank is also open for both salaried and non-salaried individuals. Here are the requirements set by the bank for the loan application:
Locally-Employed Individuals
- duly-accomplished BDO Personal Loan Application Form
- valid government-issued ID
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) duly stamped and received by the Bureau of Internal Revenue or BIR Form 2316 signed by employer’s authorized representative
- Latest full month’s payslip
- Original Certificate of Employment indicating status, service tenure and compensation breakdown
- If with credit card from other banks, copy of the latest two (2) months statement of credit card existing at least one (1) year
Self-Employed Individuals
- duly-accomplished BDO Personal Loan Application Form
- valid government-issued ID
- Latest Income Tax Return duly stamped as received by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Audited Financial Statements for the last two (2) years (MANDATORY)
- Registration of Business Name (MANDATORY)
- For Single proprietorship – issued by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
- For Partnerships or Corporations – issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
- Latest three (3) months bank statement (OPTIONAL)
- If requested loan amount is more than P1 Million:
- Latest three (3) months bank statement and at least one (1) trade reference
- GIS (if company is a corporation)
