AUB SEAFARERS LOAN REQUIREMENTS 2024 – Here are the documents that must be submitted to Asia United Bank in applying for the loan offer.
In the Philippines, there are banks that have crafted loans that were designed to specifically help seafarers and their family meet their financial needs. One of these banks is Asia United Bank or also popularly called AUB.
The Asia United Bank is one of the biggest and trusted banks in the Philippines. Its offer encompass deposit accounts, loans, investment products, cash management services, credit cards, and many other financial services.
Another loan offer of the Asia United Bank aside from the AUB Housing Loan is the AUB Seafarers Loan which is under the Salary Loan category. It is non-collateral and does not require a co-maker for application.
The AUB Seafarers Loan requirements in terms of eligibility requires that the borrower must be a Filipino citizen who is aged between 21 to 60 years old at the time of the loan maturity. Also, the seafarer must have completed at least one (1) employment contract.
For qualification to the offer, the borrower must be earning a minimum gross salary income of USD$800 and must open an Asia United Bank account.
There are only a few AUB Seafarers Loan requirements for application. Here are the documents needed in applying for the loan offer:
- Completely filled out and signed Application Form
- Photocopy of Employment Contract with POEA stamp
- Photocopy of Passport and Seaman’s Book
- Photocopy of Seafarers Registration Certificate (SRC) or Worker’s Information Sheet (WIS)
- Allotment Arrangement certified by the company
- Plane ticket or Certificate of Departure issued by manning agency
- Authority to deduct from AUB account
The loan can be approved within 24 hours since the filing of the loan application. Also, the loan proceeds may be released right away.
