Update on Starbucks Coffee Prices in PH amid High Sugar Costs
STARBUCKS COFFEE PRICES – Popular coffee maker Starbucks Philippines announced it will raise the costs of its coffee by P5.
Many people are into drinking coffee. To coffee lovers, a day has not started right without having at least a cup of their favorite coffee that could spike their energy to the entire day’s task. In most cases, it is also their own way of driving the drowsiness in the morning and get all the work done.
Most people who are into coffee have at least two or three cups daily. They have it in the morning and make it part of their bonding with friends and workmates in the afternoon. Some people have it at night too to help them get all the unfinished work in the day done.
When it comes to coffee, one of the go-to of many people is Starbucks. While it is known for its slightly pricey coffee products, many people are hooked by the taste of their beverages. Many people claim that the Starbucks coffee prices is no longer felt when you start having a cup with its exceptional taste.
However, recently, the high costs of sugar sparked a lot of concerns. It is one of the main ingredients in making most of the beverages like coffee. Amid the high costs of sugar, an update that Starbucks coffee prices will be up crossed the surface.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Starbucks PH announced that they will increase the prices of their beverages by P5 starting September 13. The coffee maker giant did not cite a specific reason behind its decision but it came amid the high sugar prices in the country.
According to Starbucks PH, they regularly review the pricing of their beverages to ensure a balance between the experience they can provide to their customers and their need to “effectively run the business”.
Meanwhile, amid the price increase on all of their beverages, Starbucks PH assured that the Starbucks Rewards loyalty program will continue and they will be having special promos.
