P&G – The American cleaning supplies brand Procter and Gamble reported solid sales growth of its products amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Undeniably, the healthcare products and the cleaning items have become part of the essentials now amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The said pandemic has greatly affected the households in over 200 countries and territories across the globe.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Proter and Gamble, an American cleaning supplies manufacturing company, reported solid growth in their sales in selected goods amid the COVID-19 pandemic. P&G said that that there is an increase on the demand for home cleaning products and higher sales for grooming equipment like styling and shaving.
With regards to the latter, it is possibly due to the fact that most people are staying at home now. Social distancing is encouraged thus many individuals prefer to groom themselves than go to salons and barber shops.
Based on the report, a boost in the sales of hair care products sold in China was also reported by P&G. It is opposite the performance last year amid the height of the pandemic in the Chinese community.
P&G Chief Executive David Taylor said that their company “delivered another quarter of solid top-line, bottom-line and cash results” amid the challenging times now due to the pandemic. He credited their company’s focus on strong product development before the pandemic and progress boost amid it.
