Update on Nissin Cup Noodles Sales amid the Challenging Times Now
NISSIN CUP NOODLES – The Nissin Foods Holdings Corp. broke its own record of the highest billion sales of cup noodles.
Amid the challenging situations now, even food manufacturers face a lot of hurdles on how to make their businesses cope with the present demands. In fact, many food manufacturers were greatly affected by the drop in sales that they have to slow down the production.
On the other side of the horizon, there are those food products with sales that continued to soar even amid the common problem that countries are facing now. Among these food products are cup noodles.
Truth be told that many people are into cup noodles most especially the young ones. Instant noodles are very appealing most especially for those who have busy schedules. It is also usually the turn-to of people who wake up late for or school.
Nowadays, cup noodles come in different flavors offering the consumers a wide array of choices. Among the flavors are beef mami, bulalo, seafood, chicken noodles, and batchoy. In terms of cup noodles, one of the most popular manufacturers is Nissin Foods Holdings Corp.
It was in September 1971 when the Japanese company started the production of cup noodles which, later on, became the leading product in terms of instant noodles. It has maintained excellent sales throughout the years.
The company has recorded 40 billion units of Nissin cup noodles sold in 2016 – its highest sale record until this year’s marketing result came ahead of it. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, last May, the sales reached 50 billion units.
The jaw-dropping sales of cup noodles came ahead of the company’s 50th anniversary of the launching of the cup noodles. According to the company’s president, Koki Ando, it is because of the “support from consumers” across the globe.
