DTI Posts E-Presyo Price Guide for Noche Buena Items
E-PRESYO – Here is a price guide for Noche Buena products this year 2021 posted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Every December, celebrations go left and right thus many people allot a bigger budget for groceries. Aside from the Christmas and the New Year celebrations, there are birthdays, reunions with friends, and many couples also prefer to tie the knot during this month. These celebrations gather families and friends together.
However, it is also during this month that the prices of basic necessities and prime commodities may increase. Meanwhile, there are regulations set with regards to the pricing of the goods that are in demand during the holiday season.
Are you one of those who are paying for the expenses for the Noche Buena celebration every December? Every year, the prices may vary.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) releases a price guide for the consumers with regard to the Noche Buena products. The government agency posts the price guide, the e-Presyo, on its official website.
DTI makes available in the said price guide the standard retail price or SRP of a Noche Buena item based on the unit. Also, the government agency specifies the prices of the different brands that offer a certain product. For example, under pasta or spaghetti which is one of the foods usually prepared for any occasion, the Department cited the SRP for brands like Amigo Segurado, Sunshine, Fiesta, La Filipina, Royal, Balducci, Ideal Gourmet, San Premo, and Fiesta.
For ham which is also one of the foods that can usually be found on the table for Christmas, it cited the prices of the different brands such as the CDO American Ham; Purefoods Brick Ham; Virginia Brick Ham and Pear-Shaped Ham; CDO Pear-shaped Ham; Swift Jamon de Bola; Purefoods Jamon de Bola; and CDO Holiday Ham (whole, pre-sliced, and Chinese style).
