Update on LPG Price Now Following Rollback
LPG PRICE – The price of liquefied petroleum gas which is one of the in-demand items during the holiday season dropped on the first day of December 2021.
The holiday season is here and there is a great demand for a lot of products most especially food items. Occasions are left and right thus many people are into allocating a bigger budget for groceries. It is the time again for families and friends to gather over food.
Aside from the Christmas and New Year celebrations, there are also birthdays and reunions held every December. These are usual happenings but there might be changes now due to the pandemic. There are also couples who prefer getting married this month when most of the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are home and can attend the wedding.
The food preparations are not only causing a spike in the demand for food items. It also increases the demand for liquefied petroleum gas. The LPG price may really be a factor in the budget.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, there is a drop in the LPG price on the first day of December 2021. This will surely benefit a lot of people during the holiday season.
Citing Petron, a P4.75 rollback on the price of every kilo of liquified petroleum gas or more than P40.00 drop on from the original price of one tank. With regards to the Auto-LPG, there is a P2.66 decrease in its price starting today.
With regards to the LPG price of Solane, a drop of P4.37 was reported. The rollback on the prices is due to the decrease in the international contract price of the LPG this December. This price drop will be most beneficial to households that cook everyday and as well as food catering services or food businesses.
