MAX’S RESTAURANT – Here is the updated menu pricelist of the famous fast-food chain in the country for the year 2024.
Max’s Restaurant, also known as “Max’s Fried Chicken” or “Max’s, The House That Fried Chicken Built,” was founded by Maximo Gimenez in 1945, right after World War II.
The restaurant began in Quezon City, Philippines, when Maximo, a Stanford-educated teacher, befriended American troops stationed nearby. The soldiers often visited his home for drinks, which inspired him to open a café.
It was his niece, Ruby, who perfected the fried chicken recipe that would become their signature dish.
Max’s Fried Chicken is the star of their menu, but they also offer a variety of beloved Filipino classics. Diners can enjoy dishes like sinigang, a flavorful sour soup; kare-kare, a rich peanut-based stew; pancit, delicious noodles; and lumpia, tasty spring rolls.
Nowadays, Max’s has expanded its reach beyond the Philippines, with locations in multiple countries, including the United States, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates.
The restaurant is now operated by Max’s Group, Inc. (MGI), one of the largest restaurant chains in the Philippines, which also includes several other restaurant brands.
