List of Requirements for Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Application Process
REQUIREMENTS FOR PAG-IBIG CALAMITY LOAN – For the self-employed members of the Pag-IBIG Fund, here are the documents required for the loan application.
In the Philippines, one of the entities that provide a Calamity Loan is the Pag-IBIG Fund. Millions of Filipinos are members of the Fund thus millions of Filipinos have access to a loan offer in times of natural disaster.
The Fund is operating in the Philippines for decades now. With regards to its Calamity Loan offer, it is open for members who have posted at least 24 monthly contributions in their Pag-IBIG Regular Savings account. In the case of the self-employed members of the Fund, here are the requirements for Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan that must be submitted to the state entity in applying for the loan offer:
- duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Application Form
- one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
- proof of income (any of the following):
- one (1) photocopy each of the ITR, Audited Financial Statements, and Official Receipt of tax payment from bank supported with DTI Registrant and Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit
- one (1) original copy of the Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details
- one (1) original copy of the Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months
- one (1) original copy of the Certified True Copy of Transport Franchise issued by appropriate government agency
- one (1) original copy of the Certificate of Engagement issued by the owner of business
- one (1) original copy of Notarized Affidavit of Income (HQP-SLF-136)
The Fund allows authorized representatives of members to file the loan application in their behalf. However, there are additional requirements for the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan application that the representative must bring during the filing. Here are the additional documents required by the Fund:
- Authorization Letter
- one (1) photocopy of a valid ID of the representative
The Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan offer is also open for application for members affected by the El Niño phenomenon. Here are the additional requirements in this case:
For farmers, including landlords, fisher folks, and livestock farmers
- Certification from the Municipal Agricultural Office (MAO) that their products were affected by the calamity
For business owners/market vendors
- Certification from the Market Vendors Association or certification from the Municipal Mayor attesting that he is engaged in the selling of farm products, vegetable, meat, fish, and that his source of livelihood was affected by the calamity
For Pag-IBIG Members or any of his immediate family members afflicted by diseases
- Medical Certificate from the Doctor stating that such diseases/illness brought by the onset of calamity
