The loan offer is also open for the OFW members of the Fund. The state entity has set a different list of documents required from OFWs in applying for the loan offer. Here are the Pag-IBIG Fund Calamity Loan requirements for the OFW members:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Application Form
  • one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
  • proof of income (any of the following):
    • Employment Contract
      • Employment Contract between employee and employer (1 Photocopy); or
      • POEA Standard Contract (1 Original)
    • Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
      • CEC written on the Employer/Company’s official letterhead (1 Original); or
      • CEC signed by employer (for household staff and similarly situated employees) (1 Original), supported by a photocopy of the employer’s ID and passport
    • Income Tax Return filed with Host Country/Government (1 Original)

If the overseas Filipino worker who want to apply for the loan offer is not available to process it personally, the member has an option to let an authorized representative do it for him/her. The representative must bring the following:

  • Authorization Letter
  • one (1) photocopy of a valid ID of the representative

The Pag-IBIG Fund Calamity Loan offer is open for victims of the El Niño phenomenon but there are specific additional documents for application. Here is a guide:

  • Certification from the Municipal Agricultural Office (MAO) that their products were affected by the calamity
  • Certification from the Market Vendors Association or certification from the Municipal Mayor attesting that he is engaged in the selling of farm products, vegetable, meat, fish, and that his source of livelihood was affected by the calamity
  • Medical Certificate from the Doctor stating that such diseases/illness brought by the onset of calamity
