SSS Calamity Loan
The SSS Calamity Loan Assistance program offer is up for member-borrowers who are not more than 60 years old at the time of filing of application and has posted a total of 24 monthly contributions, three (3) of which should be posted within the last 12-month period before the month of filing application. The member-borrower should have not been granted with any final SSS benefit as well.
Here are the documents required by the SSS:
- one (1) copy of the SSS calamity loan assistance application form
- original copy of barangay certification
- original copy of valid ID
GSIS Calamity Loan
The Government Service Insurance System has its own calamity loan offer which is called GSIS Emergency Loan. It is open for GSIS members who are a bona fide residents or employees of the government office within an area declared under a State of Calamity by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan/Panglungsod and/or the National Disaster Reduction Risk Management Council with no loan that has been declared in default nor arrearages in the payment of mandatory social insurance contributions.
A duly-accomplished GSIS Emergency Loan Application Form is needed in applying for the loan offer.
Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan
For a Pag-IBIG member to qualify for the Calamity Loan, he/she must have posted at least twenty-four (24) monthly membership savings under the Pag-IBIG Regular Savings, in active membership, and gainfully employed or self-employed with proof of income. Here are the calamity loan requirements for application:
- duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Application Form
- one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
- proof of income:
- For Locally-Employed Members:
- The employer must accomplish the “Certificate of Net Pay” portion at the back of the application form or submit a photocopy of one (1) month latest payslip duly authenticated by the company’s authorized signatory”
- For Self-Employed Members (any of the following):
- one (1) photocopy each of the ITR, Audited Financial Statements, and Official Receipt of tax payment from bank supported with DTI Registrant and Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit
- one (1) original copy of the Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details
- one (1) original copy of the Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months
- one (1) original copy of the Certified True Copy of Transport Franchise issued by appropriate government agency
- one (1) original copy of the Certificate of Engagement issued by the owner of business
- one (1) original copy of Notarized Affidavit of Income (HQP-SLF-136)\
- For OFW Members:
- Employment Contract
- Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
- CEC written on the Employer/Company’s official letterhead (1 Original); or
- CEC signed by employer (for household staff and similarly situated employees) (1 Original), supported by a photocopy of the employer’s ID and passport
- Income Tax Return filed with Host Country/Government (1 Original)
