REQUIREMENTS FOR PAG-IBIG CALAMITY LOAN 2025 – If you are a locally-employed member who want to apply, here’s a guide on the documents that you need to prepare for the application process.

The Philippines was recently hit by three (3) typhoons within a span of a few weeks only — tropical storms Crising, Dante, and Emong. Many families lost their homes to the natural calamity while others lost their source of living. In some case, worst, they lost both. Casualties were also recorded.

In times like this, individuals who are members of the government institutions like the Social Security System or SSS, the Government Service Insurance System or GSIS, and the Pag-IBIG Fund has something to turn to. If you are looking for another option aside from the SSS Calamity Loan Program of the Social Security System, you may also turn to the Pag-IBIG Fund Calamity Loan offer.

The Pag-IBIG Fund has several loan offers. Aside from the Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan offer, the government entity has also crafted a safety net for the members in times of natural disasters in the former of the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan.

The Fund allows the filing of application by a member’s authorized representative. However, there are addition requirements for Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan application in this case. Here are the other documents that the authorized representative should bring:

  • Authorization Letter
  • one (1) photocopy of a valid ID of the representative

The Pag-IBIG Fund stated that there are additional documents required in case of El Niño phenomenon and other specific cases. Here’s a guide:

  • Certification from the Municipal Agricultural Office (MAO) that their products were affected by the calamity
  • Certification from the Market Vendors Association or certification from the Municipal Mayor attesting that he is engaged in the selling of farm products, vegetable, meat, fish, and that his source of livelihood was affected by the calamity
  • Medical Certificate from the Doctor stating that such diseases/illness brought by the onset of calamity
