P500 BILL WITH FERDINAND MARCOS SR – Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) released a statement regarding this photo circulating online.
Currently, there are a lot of untruthful things circulating online and some entities, groups, and even private individuals are taking moves on clarifying these things for public awareness. One of these entities is Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
Recently, a photo of a P500 banknote with the face of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.’s face circulated online. It was posted on a satirical news site and it hooked public attention.
BSP recently spoke on the said P500 bill with Ferdinand Marcos Sr.’s face clarifying that there is no truth it. The Central Bank is encouraging everyone to report the use of fake banknotes to the police authorities or the BSP’s currencyinvestigation@admin

The said P500 bill with Ferdinand Marcos Sr.’s face came amid the issues surrounding the presidential bid of the late dictator’s son, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. He is one of the 97 presidential aspirants for the Election 2022.
The presidential bid of Marcos Jr. undeniably triggered the issues during the regime of his late father which includes their alleged ill-gotten wealth. As for the issues towards the former Senator himself, he is facing criticisms over his educational background being a special diploma holder of Oxford University and over his previous conviction for non-filing of his tax returns.
Amid the accusations and issues, Marcos Jr. is determined to push through his presidential bid in 2022. He has yet to determine his running-mate in the upcoming election.
