Israel’s Hotel Industry Now Accepts Filipino Job Applicants
ISRAEL’S HOTEL INDUSTRY – Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss confirmed that Filipinos may now apply for hotel work in Israel.
More and more Filipinos are planning to work abroad because of the greener field that is presented by several other countries. Truth be told that one of the primary reasons why there are a lot of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) is the high compensation abroad that gives Pinoys the chance to provide a more comfortable life for their family and loved ones.
There is an exchange to the high salary that OFWs are earning abroad – they have to endure the longing to be with their family and loved ones until their contract is done and they might miss a lot of experiences with their family and loved ones. However, to prepare for a brighter future most especially for parents, they endure the struggle to earn bigger in other countries.
Several countries have opened doors for Filipino workers. Recently, Israel’s hotel industry also welcomed Filipino staff.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss announced that the first batch of Filipino workers set to work in Israel’s hotel industry is set to leave next week. There are at least 500 of them who are part of the first batch of workers to fly to Israel.
According to Fluss, the Philippines and Israel have signed a government-to-government deal on the processing of the workers’ applications in the hotel industry. The envoy revealed that the hiring cap is set at 2,000 but the demand is a factor on the quota as well.
Based on the report, those who want to apply for a hotel job in Israel do not need to worry about the processing fee. You just have to apply at Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).
