REQUIREMENTS FOR OWWA BUSINESS LOAN OFWs – Here are the documents required in applying for the loan offer for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

Have you heard about the Business Loan offer of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration or OWWA? It is under the Overseas Filipino Workers – Enterprise Development and Loan Program and is open for both individual and group loan applicants.

Are you interested to apply for the loan offer? If yes, you will need to submit the requirements for OWWA Business Loan for OFWs which depend if you will apply to start a business or to grow an existing one.

If you want to apply to start a business, here are the documents that you need to prepare and submit to the government agency:

  • Certification from OWWA confirming that you are a bonafide OFW and has finished the Enhanced Entrepreneurial Development Training (EEDT)
  • two (2) valid IDs with signature
  • duly-accomplished Overseas Filipino Workers – Enterprise Development and Loan Program (OFW-EDLP) Application Form
  • Business Plan / Proposal
  • Statement of Assets and Liabilities
  • Barangay Certification of Residency
  • Proof of Billing Address
  • Sketch of the place of residence

If you are applying to finance the growth of your existing business, there is a different list of requirements that you must submit to OWWA. Here are the documents required by the government agency:

  • Certificate of Registration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
  • Bio-data applicant
