Steps in Applying for TIN ID Based on Taxpayer’s Personal Details

One of the most important identification document a person can have is the Taxpayer Identification Number. More popularly called TIN, this document certifies that the person pays taxes to the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the tax-collecting body of the government.

- Step 1 — Check the eligibility requirements such as the following:
- Birth Certificate or any valid government-issued identification document
- Passport if the applicant is a non-resident alien
- Marriage Contract (for married women)
- 1×1 ID picture
