According to DSWD, the cash assistance that will be extended for the transportation can be used “with the cost of the public transportation, fuel, or maintenance costs” for a private vehicle as well.
With regards to the amount that you may get under the DSWD Transportation Cash Assistance offer, it varies depending on the assessment of the DSWD officer. It is set to be the amount that is enough to cover the travel expenses of the beneficiary.
The cash assistance may range up to Php 10,000 for travels that will take a day and more than Php 10,000 for those that will take three (3) to five (5) days.
