List of Requirements for DSWD Educational Cash Aid Application
REQUIREMENTS FOR DSWD EDUCATIONAL CASH AID – Listed here are the documents that the social welfare department requires for application.
In the Philippines, one of the options that the parents or students who are in underprivileged situations may turn to is the Educational Cash Assistance offer of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation or the AICS program of the DSWD, the government agency launched the DSWD Educational Cash Aid offer. It is open for students in all levels under certain provisions:
- Elementary Level students
- Junior High School students
- Senior High School students
- College students & Vocational students
There are a few requirements for the DSWD Educational Cash Aid application that must be prepared and submitted to the social welfare department. Here are the documents required by the government agency in applying for the cash aid offer:
- School ID / Student ID — It is a proof that the student applying for the cash aid is currently enrolled in a school or educational institution. The ID must be under the validity period set by the school.
- Parents / Guardians ID — The presentation of the ID of the parents or guardians is required by the social welfare department as a proof of consent to the student-application in applying for the cash aid offer.
- Student Fee Slips — The DSWD will use the student fee slips in assessing the assistance needed by the student-applicant.
- Name of School — The applicant must state the name of the school where he/she is currently enrolled.
- Enrollment Form or Registration Document — Also another proof of the student-applicant’s enrollment to an educational institution is the Enrollment Form or the E.F.
In applying for the DSWD Medical Cash Aid offer, there are three (3) options for the parents and the student-applicants. The student may apply for the offer through a walk-in process, an email, or online.
Walk-in Process
Go to a branch of the social welfare department and submit the requirements for the DSWD Educational Cash Aid offer. The social welfare staff will give the interview date. Go back to the DSWD office on your scheduled interview for the assessment and the interview.
Send the application through an email to the [email protected]. State your name, contact details, and complete address in the email as well as your preferred schedule for the interview. Once the social welfare department has confirmed the application, go to the DSWD office on the said date with the requirements.
Online
Download the application form from the official DSWD website (www.dswd.gov.ph). Accomplish the form and submit it. The DSWD will update you about the result of the screening and assessment as well as your interview schedule.
