According to GSIS, the surviving spouse is considered as the primary beneficiary of the deceases pensioner. He or she will continue to receive a part of the pension monthly until he or she re-marries or engages in a common-law relationship.

sir/mam….i just want to know about the situation wherein my husband, VICENTE V. GILO SR, died on 1996, he was then a school principal in kling national high school, kling, kiamba, sarangani province..he retired at the age of 65 years old, and passes away at the age of 70years old, since then, i didn`t received any amount of the said survivorship pension as the primary beneficiary of the deceased pensioner,, i am now 85 years old at present, and hopefully, i will be benefited thus years that i did not received as surviving spouse under this GSIS survivorship program… GOD bless.. here`s my son`s cp #.. 09383353805.. roger andres gilo.. thank you..
