Are you one of the members of the Pag-IBIG Fund? If you are and or you are in the processing of applying to be, it is best to know the different offers of the government entity. It has loan offers which are the following:
- Pag-IBIG Housing Loan
- Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL)
- Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan
Let us discuss the Pag-Calamity Loan which is open for members of the Fund who are residing in areas declared under a State of Calamity. It was designed to help the member in recovering from the effects of the typhoon, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc. which could range from the damages in properties to loss of lives.
To apply for the loan offer, there are Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan requirements that you need to prepare. Here are the documents that must be submitted to the Fund:
- duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Form 2023
- Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card
- proof of income
- Declaration of being affected by the calamity (for formally employed members)
- at least two valid IDs
After the submission of a complete set of the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan requirements, it may take around three (3) to seven (7) working days for the process of the loan application. However, there might be cases of delays in the review of the documents depending on the surge of the applications as per the Fund.
Once your loan has been approved, you may receive a text message from the Pag-IBIG Fund and you may expect to receive your loan proceeds. The money can be released through any of the following:
- Check payable to you
- Your Pag-IBIG Loyalty Plus Card or Cash Card (prepare this before applying online)
- Your bank account via LANDBANK’s Payroll Credit System Validation
