PAG-IBIG HEAL LOAN REQUIREMENTS 2024 – OFW members of the Pag-IBIG Fund may check here the documents required for application.
In the Philippines, countless Filipino families were able to acquire a house of their own through the Housing Loan offer of the Pag-IBIG Fund. Undeniably, it is one of the most popular Housing Loan offers across the nation.
The Pag-IBIG Housing Loan is open for several purposes. It can finance a residential property acquisition whether it is a vacant residential lot, a house and lot, a townhouse, an apartment, etc. It can also finance a house construction or a home renovation.
Furthermore, the Housing Loan offer is also open to finance the take-out of existing home loans under other entities. You may also apply for the loan offer to do both — purchase a vacant lot and build a house on it.
However, what usually happens is that the member-borrower struggles in maintaining the residential property at its best state as they no longer have a huge extra amount for the renovation. There are also cases when the other goals are hampered by the act of paying for a monthly due.
The Pag-IBIG Fund actually has another loan offer for Housing Loan borrowers who want to achieve their other goals, too. Have you heard about the Pag-IBIG Home Equity Appreciation Loan or the Pag-IBIG HEAL?
The HEAL was crafted “to help them improve their homes, buy a car, purchase furniture and appliances, or finance other life goals”. It is open not only for locally-employed and self-employed members of the Fund but as well as overseas Filipino workers.
