PAG-IBIG CALAMITY LOAN REQUIREMENTS 2024 – Listed below are the documents that the Pag-IBIG Fund requires from overseas Filipino worker (OFW) members who want to apply for the Calamity Loan offer.

The Pag-IBIG Fund provides several loans that you may apply for in times of need for financial solutions. You can have both short-term and long-term loans that attend to different needs. It also has a loan that attends to calamity emergencies — the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan. Even the OFW member of the Fund may apply for the loan offer.

The Calamity Loan offer of the Fund is open not only for locally-employed and self-employed members but as well as overseas Filipino workers. If you are an OFW, even if you are in abroad, and your place in the Philippines is under a State of Calamity, you may apply for the loan offer.

To apply, you just have to prepare the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan requirements set for OFW members for application:

  • duly-accomplished and signed Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan Application Form
  • one (1) photocopy of valid ID acceptable to the Fund
  • proof of income (any of the following):
    • Employment Contract
    • Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
      • CEC written on the Employer/Company’s official letterhead (1 Original); or
      • CEC signed by employer (for household staff and similarly situated employees) (1 Original), supported by a photocopy of the employer’s ID and passport
    • Income Tax Return filed with Host Country/Government (1 Original)

In case the loan application will be filed by your authorized representative, there are documents that must be prepared and submitted by the representative who will file the loan offer. Here are these additional Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan requirements for application:

  • Authorization Letter
  • one (1) photocopy of a valid ID of the representative

In case of an El Niño phenomenon in your place of residence, you may also apply for the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan offer. Here are the other additional documents required by the state entity for submission in special cases:

For farmers, including landlords, fisher folks, and livestock farmers

  • Certification from the Municipal Agricultural Office (MAO) that their products were affected by the calamity

For business owners/market vendors

  • Certification from the Market Vendors Association or certification from the Municipal Mayor attesting that he is engaged in the selling of farm products, vegetable, meat, fish, and that his source of livelihood was affected by the calamity

For Pag-IBIG Members or any of his immediate family members afflicted by diseases

  • Medical Certificate from the Doctor stating that such diseases/illness brought by the onset of calamity
