The Indonesian Visa requirements for application depends on your purpose of visit to the country. If you will be flying to Indonesia to see its beautiful places or for your next vacation, you must apply for a Tourist Visa. Submit the following documents:
- duly-accomplished Indonesia Visa Application Form
- copy of your round-trip or onward travel ticket
- Philippine passport that is valid for at least six (6) months upon arrival in Indonesia
- copy of your valid Residence Permit/Visa if you are not a citizen of the country you live in
- proof of sufficient financial means like bank statments
- Passport-size picture
- 3cm x 4 cm or 4cm x 6cm in size
- either a white or red background
- look at the camera straight ahead
- no hats, head coverings, bandanas, sunglasses, or prescription glasses
- letter of invitation if you will be visiting friends in Indonesia
- proof of having paid the Indonesia visa fee
- letter of invitation if you were invited by an organization
Many Filipinos are undeniably flying to Indonesia for employment purposes. In that case, you must have a Work Visa. Here are the Indonesian Visa requirements for application for this purpose:
- RPTKA Application
- duly-accomplished RPTKA application form
- company documents
- letter from employer explaining the reason for hiring and the position
- company’s annual reports on number of local and international employees
- organizational structure of the company
- Letter of recommendation from another institution/organization
- IMTA Application

- letter from you indicating your affirmation to the employment
- proof of education and experience related to your field/occupation and the position you will have
- copy of your passport
- certificate of work experience
- National Social Security policy and Tax identification number (NPWP)
- proof of an insurance policy issued by an Indonesian insurance company
- two passport-size colour pictures of yourself
- proof of payment of the DPKK (Skill & Development Fund) Fee ($1,200/year)
If you will be studying in Indonesia, you need to apply for a Student Visa. Here are the Indonesia Visa requirements for application for it:
- copy of your passport
- Curriculum Vitae
- copy of the Letter of Acceptance Letter from your university
- copy of the Recommendation Letter from your university addressed to the Directorate of Immigration
- copy of the study permit from the Ministry of National Education
- two recent passport-size pictures (4×6 cm)
- copy of your academic transcript and records
- Health certificate
- letter of Financial Guarantee or a sponsorship certificate
