List of New Pag-IBIG Monthly Contribution Rates for Mandatory Members this 2024

The Pag-IBIG Fund offers several different kinds of loans which can give you the best financial solutions for your cash needs. How much is the new Pag-IBIG monthly contribution this 2024? It varies among the locally-employed and self-employed members of the Fund as well as the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who are members as well.

Employed Member (Private)
- Employee’s Share: Php 200.00
- Employer’s Share: Php 200.00
Employed Member (Government)
- Employee’s Share: Php 200.00
- Employer’s Share: Php 200.00
Self-Employed Member
This includes business owners and professionals such as doctors, architects, engineers, and lawyers among others. The members under this category must shoulder the whole Php 400.00 new Pag-IBIG monthly contribution rate.
Self-Employed Member (Other Earning Groups)
This includes the transport sector workers, the market vendors, the service providers, the tourism workers, the service providers, and the informal sector workers.
- 1% of earnings if earning Php 1,000 to Php 1,500 per month
- 2% of earnings if earning above Php 1,500 per month
Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW)
- Employee’s Share: Php 200.00
- Employer’s Share: None
Overseas Filipino Seafarer
- Employee’s Share: Php 200.00
- Employer’s Share: Php 200.00
Kasambahay
If the kasambahay-member is earning at least Php 5,000 per month, here is the new Pag-IBIG monthly contribution 2024:
- Employee’s Share: Php 200.00
- Employer’s Share: Php 200.00
If the kasambahay-member is earning less than Php 5,000 a month, the employer must shoulder the monthly contribution. The rate is based on the following:
- 3% of salary if monthly salary is Php 1,000 t0 Php 1,500
- 4% of salary if monthly salary is above Php 1,500 t0 Php 5,000
There are several entities that can help you in paying for your monthly contribution to the Pag-IBIG Fund. Aside from paying over-the-counter in any of the Pag-IBIG Fund branches, you may also make your payment through any of the following:
- SM Business Service Centers
- SM Hypermarket
- Savemore
- Bayad Center and its authorized partners
- LANDBANK
- Metrobank
- ECPay (thru 7-Eleven stores and merchant partners)
- M Lhuillier
- CashPinas Moneygment App (Credit to Account, DragonPay, ECPay, PayPal and 7-Eleven stores)
- GCash (mobile payment)
If you are not yet a member of the Pag-IBIG Fund, you might like to check on the qualifications that the state entity has set. It is open for both mandatory and voluntary members. A membership to the Fund is mandated among the following:
- Employees in the private sector (permanent, temporary, or provisional status) up to 60 years old
- Government employees with GSIS coverage, regardless of appointment status
- Self-employed individuals up to 60 years old earning at least ₱1,000 a month
- Kasambahays (e.g., household helpers, cooks, drivers, gardeners, etc.) with a monthly salary of at least ₱1,000
- Land-based and sea-based OFWs
- Filipinos employed by foreign-based employers, whether deployed locally or abroad
- Uniformed personnel (Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, etc.)
- Expats up to 60 years old who are compulsorily covered by the SSS
As mentioned, the Pag-IBIG Fund membership is also open for voluntary memberships. The following may also apply to be a Pag-IBIG member:
- Non-working spouse of registered Pag-IBIG members
- Filipino employees of a foreign government or international organization
- Employees of employers with a waiver or suspension of coverage by the Pag-IBIG Fund
- Religious group leaders and members
- Pensioners, investors, and other individuals with passive income or allowances
- Public officials and employees without GSIS coverage (e.g., barangay officials, Sangguniang Kabataan members, etc.)
