One of the offers under the AICS program is the DSWD Education Cash Assistance offer. It aims to help the poor but deserving students in their financial needs. The DSWD Educational Cash Assistance is open for the following:

  • breadwinners or Filipino students who take the responsibility of supporting their own studies
  • working students or those who have to take part-time jobs so they can support their financial needs
  • children of solo parents
  • those who are living without a family or relatives or students who do not have to a place to call home
  • children of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs)
  • children of parents who have no means of earning to support the studies of their children
  • children of persons with disabilities or PWDs

  • unmarried father or mother who chose to raise their child independently without entering marriage
