Kabayan Unsecured Personal Loan

• This loan offer is non-collateral meaning there is no need to present a property as a collateral to be eligible for the loan application. No asset of the borrower is at risk while paying for the loan.

Kabayan Secured Personal Loan

• This is a collateral loan. According to the bank, the Secured Personal Loan under the Kabayan Program “is offered against hold-out on joint or individual account deposits” maintained with the bank as a security. The account may be any of the following:
  • Peso Current or Savings Account
  • Dollar Current or Savings Account
  • Peso Time Deposit
  • Dollar Time Deposit

The minimum deposit required in the account is at least Php 15,000.00. “In Trust For” accounts cannot be used in applying for the said Kabayan loan offer.
