OIL PRICE ROLLBACK – Several gasoline stations confirmed the drop in the prices of fuel on October 4, 2022.
The prices of fuel per liter usually changes in a weekly basis. It depends on certain factors on the global market as markers if it will go up or down by the following week. In the Philippines, oil price hikes or oil price rollbacks usually take place on a Tuesday.
A few days ago, the authorities in the oil industry expressed their prediction that oil prices will drop this week. It is even eyed that the oil price rollbacks will be bigger if Peso has not continuously weakened against the United States (U.S.) Dollar.
A lot of motorists including public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers and private vehicle owners await updates about the oil price rollback eyed this week. Many fuel stations across the nation have confirmed the drop in the prices of diesel, gasoline, and kerosene this week.
As of this writing, several fuel stations have already announced the amount of the price drop that they will implement on the costs of fuel tomorrow, October 4, 2022. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, here are the oil price rollback:

- Gasoline – Php 0.40 per liter rollback
- Diesel – Php 0.45 per liter rollback
- Kerosene – Php 0.85 per liter rollback
Pilipinas Shell
- Gasoline – Php 0.40 per liter rollback
- Kerosene – Php 0.85 per liter rollback
- Diesel – Php 0.45 per liter rollback
CleanFuel
- Gasoline – Php 0.40 per liter rollback
- Diesel – Php 0.45 per liter rollback
Caltex
- Gasoline (Platinum and Silver) – Php 0.40 per liter rollback
- Kerosene – Php 0.85 per liter rollback
- Diesel – Php 0.45 per liter rollback
