Details about the PAL Cebu-Baguio Flight as to Philippine Airlines
PAL CEBU-BAGUIO FLIGHT – The Philippine Airlines (PAL) confirmed that it would be operating the Cebu and Baguio route soon.
In the Philippines, one of the places that never fails to gather tourists all-year is Baguio City. Tagged as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio offers a mountaineous vibe that many people love to indulge in. There are a lot of beautiful spots that you and your loved ones can visit in Baguio.

For people coming from Visayas region, the usual route to Baguio is to take a flight to Metro Manila and take a bus ride in Cubao going to the summer capital of the Philippines. The travel may take 6-8 hours. Meanwhile, it seems that an easier and faster travel will be available for those who are coming from Visayas soon.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Philippine Airlines confirmed that PAL Cebu-Baguio flight will be available starting this December 16, 2022. According to the airline company, it is a “pioneer route and a historic homecoming for Asia’s first airline”.
In March 1941, the Philippine Airlines reportedly flew its first flight from Manila to Baguio. The upcoming PAL Cebu-Baguio flight will be the airline’s comeback to the very first destination it took 82 years ago.
“We are happy to be flying back to where it all started,” PAL President and COO Captain Stanley K. Ng said.
According to PAL, it will be inaugurating new planes that will take the route that connects the Queen City of the South and the City of Pines. Based on the report, there will be four (4) flights every week as per the schedule below:

- 08:50 a.m. departure from Mactan Cebu
- 10:50 a.m. arrival at Baguio Loakan Airport
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
PR 2231
- 11:10 a.m. departure from Baguio
- 01:00 p.m. arrival in Cebu
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
