Update on Price of Flower Bouquet this Valentine’s Day Celebration
PRICE OF FLOWER BOUQUET – The prices of flowers and bouquets in Dangwa increased thrice this Valentine’s Day celebration.
The Valentine’s Day celebration always raised the demands for flowers and chocolates. These are two (2) of the gifts that people usually give to their loved ones to make them feel extra special on Valentine’s Day. Another gift that many people also consider is a stuffed toy – it is usually given by boyfriends to their girlfriends.
As the law of supply and demand applies, it is really expected for the price of flower bouquets and even individual flowers to increase ahead of Valentine’s Day. A lot of people make pre-orders of bouquets that they can just pick it up on the day of the event.
In most cases, couples would go for a trip together, dine at a restaurant, or simply spend quality time at home. Every 14th day of February, most restaurants are filled with reservations for lunch and dinner.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, ahead of Valentine’s Day, the price of flower bouquets in Dangwa increased three times. It is usually the go-to place of a lot of people for flowers and bouquets.
According to the report, the cheapest price of flowers that can be bought in Dangwa is between Php 100.00 to Php 200.00 per stem. Most rose bouquets are priced between Php 1,000.00 to Php 1,200.00.
Many people reportedly went to Dangwa ahead of the Valentine’s Day to pick and buy flowers for their loved ones. Those who have the budget have no problem with the price increase as they will give it to the people special for them.
With over a three times increase in the price of bouquet, based on the report, the rose bouquet that can previously be bought at Php 500.00 is now priced between Php 700.00 to Php 1,000.00. Based on the report, the imported rose bouquet which was previously at Php 1,000.00 is now between Php 1,500.00 to Php 2,500.00. Each stem of imported rose which was at Php 60.00 before is now priced at Php 150.00.
With regards to the variety bouquet, it is now priced between Php 650.00 to Php 800.00 from the original price of Php 300.00. Other products sold for Valentine’s Day is a chocolate bouquet worth Php 7,000.00 while others love buying dried flowers.
