Steps on How To Verify GCash to Enjoy Fully Verified User Access
HOW TO VERIFY GCASH – Here is a guide in verifying your account in GCash so you can enjoy a fully verified user access.
Step 1 – Open the GCash App. Login to your account by entering your MPIN. Be sure not to share your MPIN with anyone. You may also login via your biometrics.
Step 2 – Tap the “Profile” icon which is found at the bottom right of your account. Tap “Verify Now”.
Step 3 – Tap “Get Verified”. You will need a valid ID issued by the government in verifying your GCash account. You can choose from the following:
- UMID
- Driver’s License
- SSS ID
- Passport
- Voter’s ID
Be sure to tap the ID type that matches that ID that you will use in verifying your GCash account. Otherwise, your account will not be verified. Company ID, Barangay ID, School ID, and TIN ID are not accepted in verifying a GCash account.
Step 4 – Take a clear photo of the valid government ID that you have chosen in verifying your GCash account. Make sure that the information on the ID are readable. You can retake the photo for a better quality.
Step 5 – Tap “Submit”. Read the guidelines in taking a photo of yourself then click “Next” and take a selfie photo. Take note of the following:
- Your face must be positioned within the frame.
- Wait for the phone camera to scan your face. Blink upon instruction.
Make sure that you got a clear photo. If you are not satisfied with the selfie that you have taken, you can retake the photo.
Step 6 – Fill in the form with the needed information (complete name, nationality, civil status, date of birth, and contact number). Tap ‘Next’.
Step 7 – Review your information. Make sure that you have given the right information to avoid your application for verification getting rejected. If there are changes or corrections, you can go back and edit the information you previously provided.
Step 8 – Read the Terms and Conditions and tick the box if you agree. Tap “Submit” to verify your GCash account.
