Facebook Digital Wallet Soon To Be Available for Social Media Users

FACEBOOK DIGITAL WALLET – The giant tech company confirmed that Novi, a digital wallet for cryptocurrency storage, is ready for launch.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the giant tech company previously spoke in 2019 about its plan to introduce a cryptocurrency to be called “Libra”. However, it faced security and reliability concerns.

Now, the long wait for the Facebook digital wallet may soon be over as the tech company confirmed that it is ready for launch. Speaking to The Information, Facebook’s crypto unit head David Marcus expressed that the leaders are committed to launching “Novi” this 2021. It would allow users to store cryptocurrencies.

According to Marcus, he wanted to release Novi alongside Diem (formerly called Libra). However, there are still uncertainties as to the said digital currency. For now, there are not many details yet about Diem but many are excited about Novi.
