VALID IDS LIST – Listed below are the primary and secondary identification cards and documents accepted in the Philippines.
Most transactions in the Philippines which include loan applications, purchasing a house or car, enrolling in a college course, booking a flight ticket, processing a government agency claim, and a lot more require proof of identity. This can be done by presenting a valid ID.
The valid IDs list in the Philippines is actually quite long and divided into two. There are identification cards and documents that are use to prove the identity of a person which are considered “primary”. There are also those that are regarded as “secondary IDs”.
Usually, transactions and processes like loan applications require either one (1) valid primary ID or identification documents or two (2) secondary IDs which must compose all the information required by an entity. Most of the identification cards and documents in the list of primary IDs are government-issued.
