Lists of DSWD Cash Aid for Support Services under the AICS Program
DSWD CASH AID FOR SUPPORT SERVICES – Here are the requirements in availing the other support services of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
In the Philippines, one of the government entities that people can turn to is the DSWD or the Department of Social Welfare and Development. It is operating in the country for decades now and has helped countless Filipinos in different situations.
The DSWD is known for their cash assistance services. It has crafted programs that offer financial solutions in different situations like the studies of poor Filipino children, in times of need for food, in times of calamities, and a lot more.
One of the assistance programs launched by the Department of Social Welfare and Development is the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation or the AICS. It has several offers under the said program such as the following:
- DSWD Medical Cash Aid
- DSWD Educational Cash Aid
- DSWD Transportation Cash Aid
- DSWD Food Cash Aid
- DSWD Funeral Cash Aid
Aside from the aforementioned cash aid offers of the social welfare department, there are also DSWD Cash Aid for Support Services. The state entity has set specific lists of documents required in availing them.
Here is a guide on the requirements in availing the DSWD Cash Aid for Support Services:
For Fire Victims:
- valid ID of the person who will file the DSWD cash assistance application
- Authorization Letter (if applicable)
- Police Report or Bureau of Fire Protection Report
For Rescued Clients:
- valid ID of the person who will file the DSWD cash assistance application
- Authorization Letter (if applicable)
- Certification from a social worker or Case manger from rescued clients
For Locally-Stranded Individuals or LSI:
- valid ID of the person who will file the DSWD cash assistance application
- Authorization Letter (if applicable)
- For LSI without valid IDs, the Medical Certificate or the Travel Authority issued by the Philippine National Police will suffice and be accepted to prove his or her identity
For Other Incidents:
- valid ID of the person who will file the DSWD cash assistance application
- Authorization Letter (if applicable)
- Barangay Certificate of Residency or Certificate of Indigency or Certificate of the Client is in Need of Assistance as well as other documents from legal authorities or regulating agencies, as may be applicable such as but not limited to:
- Police Report or Blotter;
- Spot report from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) or the Philippine National Police (PNP)
- Joint AFP-PNP Intelligence Committee (JAPIC) certificate
- Certificate of death, Disaster Assistance Family Access Card (DAFAC)
- Medico-legal certification
