Pag-IBIG Fund was mainly and initially known for its offers to help Filipinos acquire affordable housing or residential properties. Members may apply for a loan to acquire a residential property.
Meanwhile, Pag-IBIG Fund has several loan offers now including those that can provide financial assistance amid a calamity. A member may also apply for a loan for personal purposes like to pursue home improvement plans, to make big purchases, to pursue life goals, etc.
Pag-IBIG Fund has a new offer now – the Pag-IBIG Home Equity Appreciation Loan or the Pag-IBIG Heal Loan. It allows borrowers of the Housing Loan to borrow an amount based on their home’s value.
There are eligibility and documentary requirements in applying for a loan. With regards to the documentary requirements for Pag-IBIG Heal Loan application, the member-applicant must prepare the following:
- Duly Accomplished Pag-IBIG Home Equity Appreciation Loan (HQP-HLF-858)_V01
- Duly Accomplished Pag-IBIG Home Equity Appreciation Loan, for co-borrower/s (HQP-HLF-868)_V01
- Proof of Income
- For locally employed applicants
- Certificate of Employment and Compensation (CEC)
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) for the year immediately preceding the date of loan application, with attached BIR Form No. 2316, duly acknowledged by the BIR or authorized representative of employer. (1 photocopy)
- One (1) Month Payslip, within the last three (3) months prior to date of loan application with name and signature of the authorized signatory of employer. (1 certified true copy)
- For self-employed applicants
- ITR, Audited Financial Statements, and Official Receipt of tax payment from bank supported with DTI Registration and Mayor’s Permit/Business Permit
- Commission Vouchers reflecting the issuer’s name and contact details (for the last 12 months)
- Bank Statements or passbook for the last 12 months (in case income is sourced from foreign remittances, pensions, etc.)
- Copy of Lease Contract and Tax Declaration (if income is derived from rental payments)
- Certified True Copy of Transport Franchise issued by appropriate government agency (LGU for tricycles, LTFRB for other PUVs)
- Certificate of Engagement issued by owner of business
- Other document that would validate source of income
- For locally employed applicants
- One (1) Valid I.D.
- Updated Real Estate Tax Receipt/s as of the quarter immediately preceding the date of application
- Health Statement Forms
- Conformity Form for New/Subsequent Housing Availment (HLF409_V03), for co-borrowers who need to express their consent to the new HEAL application
