SSS CONTRIBUTION INQUIRY – Here is a full list of the monthly rates for the year 2022 based on member’s source and amount of income.

In the Philippines, most of the populace is either a member of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) or the Social Security System (SSS). These two (2) social insurance institutions are under the government. The former is former is for the individuals who are working in the government.

With regards to the SSS, this social insurance institution has opened its membership not only to individuals who are employed in the private sector but as well as those coming from other fields. Self-employed individuals, non-working spouses of SSS members, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), and domestic helpers may also apply for membership to the social insurance institution. You can also be a voluntary member of the SSS if you are now working in the government but have worked in the private sector before.

SSS members who have updated accounts may qualify to the benefits and loans offered by the social insurance institution. To maintain an updated and active account, you must pay for the monthly contribution monthly. The rates vary among members depending on the source of income and the amount of income of the member.
