SSS DISABILITY BENEFIT PENSION 2025 – Here is a guide on how much a member of the Social Security System may get under the benefit offer.
In the Philippines, there are two (2) social insurance giants — one of them is the Social Security System or more popularly called SSS. It has a multi-million member populace and individuals who are working in the private sector are mandated to maintain an updated account to the social insurance entity.

The Disability Benefit offer of the Social Security System may provide financial options whether it is a partial or a total disability due to an unfortunate situation. Here is the coverage of the benefit offer:
Partial Disabilities
- one finger
- one hand
- one arm
- one foot
- one leg
- both ears
- hearing of one ear or both ears
- one eyesight
Total Disabilities
- complete loss of sight of both eyes
- loss of two limbs at or above the wrists or ankles
- permanent complete paralysis of two limbs
- brain injury that leads to incurable imbecility or insanity
- other cases of total disability approved by the SSS
SSS members who have posted at least one (1) monthly contribution prior to the semester of the disability may be eligible to file for a claim. There are two (2) options with regards to the financial option — an SSS Disability Benefit Pension or a lump sum.
In the case of the SSS Disability Benefit Pension 2025, the member must have posted at least 36 monthly contributions. With regards to the amount that a member may receive, it depends on the number of the credited years of service and here’s a guide:

Less than 10 years | PHP 1,000 |
At least 10 years | PHP 1,200 |
At least 20 years | PHP 2,400 |
In case the member has posted a total premium of less than 36 monthly contributions at the time of the disability, he/she may qualify for the SSS Disability Benefit lump sum. The proceeds will be released to the member through an accredited bank of the Social Security System.
