BDO Waives Fees When You Use Electronic Means To Pay Your Loans / Do Other Banking Transactions

BDO WAIVES FEES – Amid the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), BDO Unibank is waiving the fees on the usage of electronic means for payment.

The daily routine of most people is affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 in the Philippines. As of this writing, there are over 9,500 cases of coronavirus confirmed in the country.

In the pursuit to stop the spread of the disease which has already taken over 500 lives in PH, the national government implemented an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the entire Luzon.

Several provinces in Visayas and Mindanao also implement the ECQ. Last April 30, most ECQ implementations were downgraded to General Community Quarantine (GCQ). This happened in areas with low and medium risk.

High-risk areas are still under the ECQ now. Both the ECQ and the GCQ approved by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte are set to expire this May 15.

BDO Waives Fees

Undeniably, people cannot freely go outdoors. A lot of bank clients now prefer using electronic means to do their banking transactions in the safest way.

In line with the ECQ implementation in several areas, BDO waives fees on payments done via electronic means and similar forms of payments. The bank wants to encourage their clients to use alternative modes that won’t require them to leave their houses.

Aside from the waiving of fees for electronic payments, BDO also assured that their ATMs are loaded with cash. Their people are working double time to serve the clients amid this crisis.
