Update on BDO Banking Schedule in Branches in Metro Manila
BDO BANKING SCHEDULE – Amid the rise in the COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila, BDO Unibank adopted a change in the operating schedule of some branches.
The cases of COVID-19 in Metro Manila are having a surge again and it prompted the national government to place the entire capital region under Alert Level 3. Also, several local governments in the capital region are implementing other stricter curbs to fight the spread of the virus.
Metro Manila is under Alert Level 3 until January 15, 2022. The mayors of the different cities also arrived at a mutual decision of temporarily limiting the mobility of the unvaccinated individuals. Several heads of the different government agencies and departments want the said policy to be imposed nationwide amid another surge of cases.
The LGUs sought the cooperation of the establishments in implementing the curbs to fight the spread of COVID-19. Banks also adjusted their schedules.
BDO Unibank is one of the biggest and the most trusted banks in the Philippines. With regards to the BDO banking schedule amid the situation in Metro Manila now, the bank is adopting changes in its operating hours in all its branches in the capital region.
In its branches in Metro Manila, the BDO banking schedule will be adjusted starting today, January 10, 2022, to a closing hour of 3:00 p.m. As of this writing, it has yet to issue a statement on the operating hours of its other branches.
The national government previously expressed that there is a possibility of placing Metro Manila under Alert Level 4 in case the growth in the cases of COVID-19 continues. The Department of Health (DOH) also said that it is possible to happen considering the status of the COVID-19 in the capital region now.
