Advisory on BPI System Maintenance on June 27 & 28
BPI SYSTEM MAINTENANCE – The Bank of the Philippine Island (BPI) released an advisory about its system maintenance set on June 27 and 28.
One of the essential companies across the globe are banks. Thus, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, banks continue to operate so the people can continue to avail their services. In the Philippines, one of the biggest banks is the Bank of the Philippine Islands or more commonly called as BPI.
BPI which was founded in 1951 has several branches across the nation and some branches abroad. Its parent organization is Ayala Corporation.
BPI offers different kinds of accounts such as savings accounts, checking accounts, time deposit accounts, and accounts for Filipinos working abroad. The bank also offer loans to the people – personal, auto, home, and business loans.
Aside from bank accounts and loans, BPI also got credit card offers. Many Filipinos are credit card holders of BPI. The bank also has investment products – indeed a lot to offer making it one of the biggest and trusted banks in the country.
Considering of the many clients of BPI, a lot of people may be affected in case some services would be suspended at a certain period of time. Meanwhile, the bank releases advisory prior to times like it so clients can do their transactions early.
Currently, there is a BPI system maintenance set on June 27 and 28. The following services may be temporarily unavailable:
· BPI ATMs and Cash Accept Machines (CAMs)
· BPI Online and Mobile app
· In-store and online purchases using BPI Debit, Credit, and Prepaid cards
· Use of BPI Debit, Credit, and Prepaid cards on non-BPI ATMs and point-of-sale (POS) machines
· BizLink and E-Link platforms
The said BPI system maintenance will start at 12:01 a.m. on June 27, 2021 until 10:00 a.m. and at 12:01 a.m. again on June 28, 2021 until 8:30 a.m. More updates may be posted soon.
