One of the loans offered by the EastWest Bank is a cash loan or personal loan offer. Both the employed and self-employed individuals, as well as foreign nationals, may pursue an application to obtain cash.

EastWest Bank Cash Loan Application
Step 1 – Who are Qualified?
For employed applicants, the borrower must be:
- a Filipino citizen or a foreign national who is permanently-residing in the Philippines
- at least 21 years old during the loan application but not over 65 years old upon the loan maturity
- having at least one fixed landline number and a mobile number
- earning a monthly gross income of not less than Php 15,000 or a yearly basic income of at least Php 180,000
For self-employed applicants, the borrower must be:
- a Filipino citizen or a foreign national who is permanently-residing in the Philippines
- at least 21 years old during the loan application but not over 65 years old upon the loan maturity
- having at least one fixed landline number and a mobile number
- earning a monthly gross income of not less than Php 15,000 or a yearly basic income of at least Php 180,000
For foreign national applicants, the borrower must be:

Step 2 – Prepare the requirements.
The EastWest Bank has prepared different lists of documentary requirements depending if the borrower is employed, self-employed, or a foreign national. Here are the documentary requirements “upon Application”.
For employed applicants:
- duly-accomplished and signed EastWest Bank Loan Application Form
- one (1) valid ID bearing photo and signature
- proof of income (any of the following):
- latest ITR or BIR Form 2316 (photocopy)
- latest three (3) months payslips (photocopy)
- Certificate of Employment
- Valid credit card reference
For self-employed applicants:
- duly-accomplished and signed EastWest Bank Cash Loan Application Form
- photocopy of at least one (1) valid photo bearing signature and photo
- proof of income:
- photocopy of latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Form 1701 and Audited Financial Statements.
- business permit
- DTI Registration Certificate or SEC Registration Certificate
- valid credit card
For foreign national applicants:
- duly-accomplished and signed EastWest Personal Loan Application Form
- one (1) valid ID (photocopy)
- proof of residence such as any of the following:
- Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
- Immigrant Certificate of Registration
- Resident Visa Stamp on passport (photocopy)
List of Requirements upon the Loan Releasing:
- original copy of the documents submitted during the loan application
- duly-accomplished and signed loan application form
- two (2) valid IDs
- one (1) ID will be presented to the EastWest Bank Personal Loan Releasing Unit
- one (1) ID will be presented to the lobby guard of the building
- fully-accomplished and signed post-dated checks
Step 3 – Submit your documents.
Visit a branch of EastWest Bank and submit your documents. All applications for loans are subject to the approval of the bank. The bank will notify you regarding the status of your loan application.
