This Landbank Sulong Saka Loan offer aims to help farmers who are growing high-value crops such as coffee, banana, cacao, rubber, oil palm, and vegetables. Here are the eligible purposes under this Landbank loan offer for farmers and the purposes they serve:

Eligible Borrowers

  • Individual Small Farm Holders
  • Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
  • Cooperatives
  • Farmers Associations/Organizations
  • Large Agribusiness Enterprises (LAEs) /Corporation
  • Local Government Units (LGUs)
  • Non-Government Organizations (NGOs)
  • Countryside Financial Institution (CFIs)

  • Building Construction

Also one of the Landbank cash loans for farmers is under the Agricultural Credit Support Project that provide “loan funds toward increasing investments, creating new job opportunities, and improving agricultural productivity in the rural areas”.

This loan offer provides small farmers with fishers access to formal credit to finance their economic activities. This program is a collaboration between the Landbank of the Philippines and the Department of Agriculture.

Eligible Borrowers

SMALL FARMERS cultivating not more than five (5) hectares of land and/or are engaged as small poultry/livestock raisers that does not exceed any of the following:

  • poultry (1,000 poultry layers or 5,000 broilers)
  • swine (10 sow level or 20 fatteners)
  • cattle (10 fatteners or 5 breeders)
  • dairy (10 milking cows)
  • goat (50 heads)

SMALL FISHERS who are…

  • operating fishing vessels of not more than three tonsin capacity
  • operating fish ponds below five hectares or fish cages of less than 400 square meters
  • fish workers in fishing boats, fishponds, or fish processing establishments
  • any other individuals who are engaged in processing, and distribution

Loan Purposes

  • Production, processing and trading of priority commodities of the Department of Agriculture such as, but not limited to, palay, coconut, fishery, and high value crops.
  • For provinces covered by Sikat Saka Program, palay production shall not be covered by AFFP

Also one of the Landbank cash loans for farmers is the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (ACEF) that aims to provide credit to farmers and fisherfolks “and their cooperatives and associations and micro and small enterprises to increase their productivity”.

According to Landbank, the ARISE-ARBs Program aims to provide financing support for ARBs/SFHs and their families who were affected by natural calamities to help bring back livelihood and farming activities.

  • Farmers Associations with ARB and SFHs members

Loan Purposes

  • Livelihood/Agri-Enterprise Loans – To augment conduit funds for relending to ARBs/SFHs to finance their livelihood and agri-enterprises projects
  • Providential Loans –to augment  conduit’s funds for relending to member ARBs/SFHs to finance their house or office repairs;
