Sari-Sari Store Loans Available for Small Businesses Selling Monde Products

Monde Nissin Wants Sari-Sari Store Loans Available for Small Business Owners

SARI-SARI STORE LOANS – Monde Nissin Corp. signed a deal with SBCorp to offer loans to small businesses owned by customers of their products.

One of the unique things about the Philippines is the presence of Sari-Sari stores everywhere in the country. These small businesses are even present in subdivisions and they are the turn-to of people whenever something that the kitchen or the pantry lacks is needed to be bought right away.

On the other end, running a sari-sari store is part of the source of income for many households. It is usually considered by households that have family members that stay at home. While doing the household chores, one can multi-task by also guarding a store.

Sari-Sari store owners usually go to grocery stores at least once a month to buy a load of the things that they will sell in their store. The prices of the items would be slightly different compared to the prices of the manufacturers.

To help small business owners like those who have Sari-Sari stores, Monde Nissin Corp. signed a deal with the Small Business Corp (SBCorp) to accredit the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) and make Sari-Sari Store loans available for customers of its product.

Monde Nissin Corp is pushing for Sustainable Trade Access to Primary Food and Link to Enterprises or STAPLES. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the company stated that STAPLES aims to provide collateral-free and interest-free loans for the customers of its products. It wants to help boost the working capital of small business owners through the Sari-Sari Store Loans.

According to SBCorp, large manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors of food may join the STAPLES program through accreditation for partnership. More updates may be posted soon regarding the loan offer.
