PLDT Advisory amid “Unforeseen” Issue

Typhoon Odette ravaged several areas in the Philippines. Some cities were left submerged in floodwater after the heavy rains. Communication and power lines were out in some areas for several hours up to a few days. In some places, electrical posts were down causing a longer time for the resumption of the power lines.

Undeniably, one of those that were sought after by many people amid the onslaught of the calamity was an internet connection. Most people needed it to communicate with their loved ones while others need to finish some work.

Meanwhile, the telecommunication-provider companies in the country boosted their efforts to respond to the internet needs of the people. However, in some cases like what happened to PLDT, an unforeseen problem took place.
