In the Philippines, there are several internet providers that people can choose from to fulfill the service they need. However, truth be told that there had been a lot of complaints about some of these internet providers.

Recently, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) approved another internet services provider – billionaire Elon Musk’s Starlink. It is under the world’s richest person’s giant company, SpaceX.

Elon Musk’s Starlink is a low-earth orbit satellite internet provider that can reach even the remote areas as per a report on ABS-CBN News. Its registration gained the approval of NTC as a value-added service (VAS) provider. The approval gives the company direct access to satellite systems and builds and operates broadband facilities that can offer public internet services.

NTC commits to helping ensure an expedite and professional rollout of the services offered by Starlink. It is set to offer low latency satellite internet service with a download speed between 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps.
