POEA Says Germany Looking for 750 Filipino Nurses
GERMANY – The country currently is in need of 750 Filipino nurses and here are some details on the monthly salary and the qualifications in applying according to POEA.
In the Philippines, there are still a lot of nursing graduates who are working in other fields most especially the BPO industry. Some of them have yet to grab an opportunity for work but they already have field experience after they graduated. Truth be told that some nurses await opportunities to work abroad to give their families a more comfortable life.
There is a good news for nursing graduates now – Germany is looking for 750 Filipino nurses. The said hiring was relayed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency or more commonly called POEA.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the hiring of 750 Filipino workers for employment in Germany is under the Triple Win Project between the country and the Philippines. It is a healthcare employment cooperation program between the national governments of the two (2) countries.
According to the report, it is the German Federal Employment Agency’s (ZAV/BA) International Placement Service that is hiring nurses in Germany. Those applicants who qualify will be assigned to the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), geriatric care or elderly care, general wards, operating room, medical wards, surgery wards, orthopedics, psychiatry, and neurology.
