NURSES’ SALARY IN GERMANY – Under the Triple Win program, 600 Filipino nurses may get a chance to work in Germany.

A lot of Filipinos have chosen to brave loneliness and homesickness abroad to be able to give their families and loved ones a brighter and more comfortable future. They took a huge risk of being away from their loved ones in the hope of earning more.

Many Pinoys are working as caregivers, nurses, domestic helpers, factory workers, and teachers in foreign countries. A lot of them attest that what they earn abroad is way higher compared to the salary of their jobs in the Philippines.

One of the most expensive courses to take in the Philippines is nursing and most graduates of nursing aspire to work abroad. Truth be told that the salary of a nurse in the country is way lower compared to the wage in other jobs.

Currently, there are a lot of opportunities for nursing graduates as 600 nurses are set to be hired by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) for job opportunities in Germany under the Triple Win program.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the nurses’ salary in Germany is between Php 140,000.00 to Php 168,000.00 if converted into Philippine Peso. One of the requirements is proficiency in speaking the German language.

Apart from the big nurses’ salary in Germany, the nurses also have a chance to be permanent residents in the said foreign country. Based on the report, recruitment agency EDI Staffbuilders managing director Kristine Brisenio expressed that the language training only takes four (4) daily and the nurses can really juggle between studying and applying for the job.

Apart from the job offers for nurses in Germany, more caregivers are also needed in Israel. Countries have opened their borders again following the pandemic wherein many Filipinos were not able to return to their work or were prevented from applying abroad by employment caps.
