Based on the report, with regards to the emergency or the calamity loan, GSIS President Rolando Macasaet expressed in a statement that announcement about it may be given soon.

Good afternoon! May I just inquire about the Conso loan because last week I tried to apply for a loan in the GSIS kiosk but I failed. It was emphasized there that we were not yet qualified but last year I tried and I had 56k net proceeds already. I did not confirm it since I didn’t have project yet. Why now that it’s pandemic and I really need badly, I couldn’t avail the Conso loan! Is there a problem in the system? Actualy, many of us tried to apply last week but we were denied! We don’t know why.
